Bold BI uses a layered security model to ensure users access only the data and content they’re authorized to view. It includes key features like authentication, authorization, data protection, and network security.
Security is categorized into two levels:
- Object-Level Security: Controls access to dashboards, data sources, and categories—determining who can view, edit, or manage them.
- Data-Level Security: Controls which rows of data a user can see, using Row-Level Security (RLS) based on user roles, groups, or context.
