Data Sources

Hybrid Data Cache

  • The enabled hybrid data cache is now reflected in view mode only.
  • Supported only for on-premises with local storage type.
  • Compatible with SQL, Live, MySQL Live Connector, and intermediate databases.
  • To activate, enable the hybrid data cache option in the data source.

Windows Expression

  • Unsupported in raw data views:Window expressions are not supported in raw data views such as data preview, view underlying data, or grid raw data.
  • Aggregation restriction:Aggregations such as COUNT, SUM, or AVG cannot be used directly inside a window expression. At least one dimension must be included along with the aggregation for the expression to work correctly.
  • Nested expression restriction:Window expressions cannot be used within other expressions, such as nested or combined expressions.
  • Widget type restriction:Window expressions are not supported in widgets that use the row or column category widget types. In addition, they are not supported in the value field when used with aggregation fields alone. Furthermore, in bar or column charts, window expressions cannot be applied to columns.
  • Filter restriction: Window expressions cannot be used in filters, as they are only supported in SELECT and ORDER BY clauses.

LOD Expression

  • Filter usage restriction: LOD expressions cannot be used in filter cases.
  • Nested expression restriction: LOD expressions cannot be used within other expressions, such as nested expressions.
  • Unsupported in raw data views: LOD expressions are not supported in raw data views, including data preview, view underlying data, and grid raw data.
  • Exclude LOD requirement: When using an exclude LOD expression, ensure that at least one dimension is included in the grid widget.
  • LOD requirement: When using a fixed LOD expression, the LOD dimension columns must be included in the grid widget.
